Public roof - inverted roof
Traffic areas can also be realized on inverted roofs, but require adapted construction methods. All functional layers must be sufficiently permeable to water vapor so that the insulation material does not absorb too much water. The resulting compressive stresses from permanent load and variable load (traffic load) must also be determined and matched to the compressive strength of the insulation material.
