GREEN ROOF LANDSCAPES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE CITY: THE OPTIGRÜN LANDSCAPE ROOF
Varied planting with the help of drainage and water storage elements
Thanks to its high, multi-layered structure, the LANDSCAPE ROOF enables a variety of intensive green roofs and planting with shrubs and trees. The LANDSCAPE ROOF can be used to create green roof landscapes in the middle of the city that are visually indistinguishable from green spaces at ground level. This means that green roofs in underground car parks can also be easily integrated into the surrounding outdoor facilities. Lawns and play areas, ponds, terraces etc. can be used here in the same way as with the GARDEN ROOF and PUBLIC ROOF system solutions.
The special feature of the LANDSCAPE ROOF is the use of an additional mineral layer (sub-substrate). From an installation depth of 350 mm, organic components should only be used in small quantities in order to avoid undesirable anaerobic decomposition processes.
