Area of use
- Vegetation substrate for intensive multi layer green roofs. Specifically designed for growing vegetables and berry bushes on garden roofs with 0-5° roof pitch
Specific properties
Substrate properties especially chosen to grow vegetables, for example:
- High water storage capacity
- Very low salt content
- High nutrient-storing capacity
- Due to originally low content of organic substances, it is possible to add composted vegetation during the cultivation cycle
- Suitable for subsurface irrigation with drip tubes when used with Optigreen Suction and Capillary Fleece RMS 500K
Note
- The substrate must be provided with new nutrients, adequately selected for each crop, in every phase of the cultivation cycle. The pH value may be lowered according to the needs of a newly planned crop, for example by adding peat.
